Projection Lighting was established in 1991. The company is based in a purpose built factory located in Manchester’s Trafford Park. In 2008 the company launched the multi award winning alphaLED brand ultilising Xicato light engines. The unique corrective cold phospor technology delivers an unrivalled performance and is the only LED product that guarantees up to ten years of life. With over one and a half million fixtures sold on prestigious projects all over the world. The technology remains the first choice for many lighting professionals.
CUSTOM, LOCAL LOGIC, RECYCLING – three legs that together summarize our business. In our workshop in Örnsberg just south of the south, most of our products and projects are produced. (With some help from local and smaller local subcontractors). We produce many details for the projects ourselves in our 3D printers. We always try to work as locally as possible with as little overproduction as possible. Not only because it is less harmful to the environment, but because it is a good deal.
We deliver a technical soul and backbone for any lighting design and application. We take great pride in providing the highest level of knowledge in the most customer friendly packaging.
Our passion for tech and customer satisfaction is on the edge of weirdness. We go all the way, everyday, to deliver as many inspiring lighting experiences as possible.
One day you’ll look back at your first contact with us as a booster for your creative spirit and one hell of a good business decision. This is our ambition with our partnership, we just want to be your best Control Department ever.

The factory is now a seven acre campus with five buildings and over 250,000 square feet of manufacturing and design space, dedicated exclusively to the production of architectural lighting fixtures. Spectrum Lighting’s design, testing and extensive in-house manufacturing facilities are unique in the industry and include optical reflectors, spun parts, machined parts, tool and die shop, welding, laser cutting, forming, powder coating and paint finishing. Even our boxes are made in-house.
